Why Choose D.G. Custom Carpentry for your:

Seamless Gutter Installation and Repair

One of the in-house services we pride ourselves on here at D.G. Custom Carpentry is seamless gutters, both new gutter installation and gutter repair. We have a trailer equipped with a state of the art seamless gutter machine which is capable of making the longest run of your house, in a single piece of heavy duty aluminum. At D.G. Custom Carpentry we set ourselves apart from the competition by offering premium materials at non-premium prices. Other gutter installation companies may cheap out and use .027″ thick aluminum that is readily available at big box stores. But we go the extra mile and only use heavier duty .032″ thick aluminum in our gutters. Now this may not seam like a significant difference, but the harsh winters of New England can load snow and cause a premature failure of a lighter duty gutter.
Different Size Gutters & Gutter Guards
D.G. Custom Carpentry also offers all types of gutter guards and leaf guards to perfectly match the debris clogging your gutters and the type of gutter that is installed. Residential properties typically have a 5″ K style gutter, however we believe that not all roofs are created equally. Lots of houses have undersized gutters especially where two roof pitches meet. This tends to overload the gutter and send water cascading down and potentially into your basement, or cause premature wear of other components of your house. To combat such problems we have the ability to make and install 6″ K style gutters. These larger gutters are capable of handing 50% more water than the 5″.

Why Seamless gutters?
Seamless gutter versus regular gutter

In the realm of gutter systems, the debate between seamless gutters and those with seams is not merely a matter of aesthetics but a crucial consideration for the longevity and efficiency of your home’s drainage. Seamless gutters, with their sleek design and advanced construction, offer a host of advantages over their seamed counterparts.
1. Premature Failure Prevention:
One of the primary drawbacks of gutters with seams is their susceptibility to premature failure. Seams are vulnerable points that can weaken over time, leading to leaks and structural issues. Seamless gutters, on the other hand, eliminate these weak links, providing a continuous and durable solution that significantly reduces the risk of leaks and premature failure.
2. Leaves and Debris:
Seamed gutters often face the challenge of leaves and debris getting caught in the joints, creating blockages that can lead to damming. This not only compromises the gutter’s functionality but also increases the risk of water damage to your home. Seamless gutters, with their smooth, unbroken design, prevent such issues by minimizing areas where leaves and debris can accumulate. This ensures a consistently efficient water flow, even in the face of heavy rainfall or debris-laden storms.
3. Enhanced Aesthetics:
From a visual standpoint, seamless gutters provide a far more polished and finished look to your home. The absence of seams creates clean lines that seamlessly blend with the architecture, contributing to a more aesthetically pleasing exterior. The smooth, continuous appearance of seamless gutters adds a touch of sophistication, enhancing your home’s curb appeal and overall value.
4. Low Maintenance:
Seamless gutters require less maintenance compared to their seamed counterparts. With fewer joints and connections, there are fewer areas where issues can arise. This not only saves homeowners time and effort in regular maintenance but also reduces the chances of unexpected repairs, offering a more reliable and hassle-free gutter solution.
5. Custom Fit and Installation:
Seamless gutters are custom-fabricated on-site to precisely fit the dimensions of your home. This custom fit ensures optimal performance and eliminates the need for additional connectors and joints. The tailored installation process, performed by skilled professionals, further enhances the gutter system’s effectiveness and longevity.

Do I Need Leaf Guards For My Seamless Gutters

Maintaining the integrity of your home involves making smart choices when it comes to essential features like gutters. Among the various options available, seamless gutters with leaf guards have proven to be a superior choice, offering numerous benefits that go beyond the initial installation. Let’s delve into why opting for this innovative solution can be a game-changer for homeowners.
1. Savings in the Long Run:
One of the most compelling reasons to invest in seamless gutters with leaf guards is the substantial savings they provide over time. Traditional gutters often require frequent cleaning to prevent clogs caused by leaves, twigs, and debris. With leaf guards in place, homeowners can say goodbye to the recurring expense of hiring professionals or spending their weekends clearing out gutters themselves. The upfront investment in seamless gutters with leaf guards pays off in the long run, making them a cost-effective solution for savvy homeowners.
2. Safety First:
Climbing ladders to clean out gutters can be a risky endeavor, leading to accidents and injuries. Seamless gutters with leaf guards eliminate the need for regular maintenance, ensuring that homeowners can avoid the hazards associated with gutter cleaning. By choosing a safer option, homeowners can prioritize their well-being while still enjoying the benefits of a well-maintained gutter system.
3. Retrofitting to Existing Gutters:
Seamless gutters with leaf guards offer a versatile solution that can be retrofitted to existing gutter systems. This means that homeowners don’t need a complete overhaul of their gutters to enjoy the advantages of a leaf-guard system. The retrofitting process is efficient and cost-effective, seamlessly integrating the leaf guards with the existing gutter structure.
4. Extended Gutter Lifespan:
Foreign materials, such as leaves and debris, can accelerate wear and tear on gutters over time. Seamless gutters with leaf guards act as a protective barrier, preventing these materials from entering the system. This not only keeps the gutters clear but also extends their lifespan by reducing the risk of corrosion and damage caused by accumulated debris.
